ROUTES AS FOLLOWS: –

 

Day 01:-Delhi-Haridwar-230kms approx. 06 hours drive

Morning drive to Haridwar. On the way you will be enrolled for Digital registration at Haridwar. On arrival check in hotel. Evening visit Har-ki-Paudi for the Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 02:-Rishikesh-Barkot-200km approx 7 hours drive

Drive to Barkot in morning. on arrival check in at the Hotel.

Day 03:-Barkot-Yamunotri-Barkot

Drive to Hanumanchatti. From here the temple is 06kms away, so you can trek or can hire Doli/pony/Palki (Cost not included). Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna, the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death. Yamuna is also the daughter of Surya the Sun. After Darshan return back to same place and driver will drop you back to the Hotel.

Day 04:-Barkot-Uttarkashi-85 kms approx 04 hours drive

Morning drive to Uttarkashi. Check in at the Hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In the evening, Visit the famous Vishwanath Temple.

Day 05:-Uttarkashi-Gangotri-Uttarkashi-100 kms approx 04 hours

Morning drive to Gangotri. Gangotri temple is just near the Parking area at walking distance.Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century’s temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Afternoon return back to the Hotel.

Day 06:-Uttarkashi-Guptkashi-190kms approx 07 hours.

Morning drive to Guptkashi. on arrival check in at the Hotel.

Day 07:-Guptkashi-Sonprayag-Kedarnath

Morning there will be 30kms drive to Sonprayag and from Sonprayag you can do trek/Doli/Palki (cost not included) of 16 kms to reach Kedarnath temple. On arrival check in at the Govt Camps/Lodges. Nightstay in Camps/Lodges.

 

Day 08:-Kedarnath-Sonprayag-Guptkashi

Early Morning you can attend Aarti and can return by the same way to Sonprayag. on arrival you will drive back to the Hotel.Night stay in Hotel

 

 

 

 

Day 09:-Rudraprayag-Joshimath-Badrinath-165 kms approx 07hours drive

Early morning drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After having wonderful Ghats drive you will arrive at Badrinath town. Evening visit Badrinath temple for Aarti. You can take bath at Tapt Kund (Hot Spring). Return back to the Hotel.

Day 10:-Badrinath-Rudraprayag/Srinagar-165 kms approx 06hours drive

Morning after breakfast visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Mata Murti Temple near Saraswati River.Drive back to Rudraprayag. On arrival chcek in at the Hotel.

Day 11:-Rudraprayag-Rishikesh-160 kms approx 06hours drive

Morning drive back to Rishikesh. On arrival visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and Parmarth Ashram. Check in at the Hotel.

Day 12:-Rishikesh-Delhi-240 kms approx 07 hours drive.

Morning drive back to Delhi followed by drop at Railway station/Hotel or Airport of your choice.

Notes:-

This holy journey to shrines of Uttarakhand involves road-journey for several hours each day, stay in hotels or tents which are basic at times and the journey is in higher altitude. Travellers need to be physically fit and openness to stay in basic accommodations and have basic veg meals. We do not recommend this tour for physically challenged persons, or persons suffering from heart / lung ailments and other conditions putting them in stress while on tour.

  • Bookings to be Done Minimum 01 Week Prior to Date of Travel.
  • Compulsory Health Certificate needs to be filled & needs to be carried along with the Guest.
  • All tours are subject to terms and conditions mentioned on the booking form in our brochure.
  • Tour prices are valid for Indian Nationals &NRI holding Indian Resident Permit.
  • If due to Weather or any Technical Problems that Cause Delays or Postponement that Entire. Extra Night Stay and Additional Meals and Transfers will be Charged Extra Directly to Clients.
  • Only up to 05Kg total Luggage is allowed in the Helicopter along with the person who is travelling.
  • Helicopter Ride is on First come First serve basis & pre booking or advance booking doesn’t give you the first preference for Ride.
  • Fixed – Breakfast & Dinner will be served at the Hotel/ Camp. All meals will be basic veg menu.

 

 

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

  • The following cancellation charges will apply:
  • More than 7 weeks before arrival – 25%
  • Between 45– 25 days before departure – 50%
  • 24 days or less before arrival – 100%
  • Postponement of date will be treated as cancellation and will be subject to availability.
  • On cancellation of any package or hotel reservation, booking payment will not be refundable or transferable on any ground.
  • Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well-being of our esteemed guests.

 

Travel Tips

Sometimes, please be informed that it may be difficult at times to get the connection. If any urgent messages have to be sent to any of the participants, then please contact us at Haridwar numbers.

 

Responsibility:- All arrangements within Chardham Yatra, reserves the right to change itineraries without prior notice, depending on the weather and road condition. Please start to get in shape NOW!!! A good 15 minutes’ walk, jogging daily, stretching and regular exercise should put you in the right shape (Concentrate on your heart & legs – Aerobics). Porters will be carrying the bulk of your equipment, but it is recommended that you bring a good day pack and are fit enough to carry snacks, filled water bottle/small scissors and  knife, waterproof matches, safety pins, Thermometer, Lighter, Dehydration salt (electoral) packets, Neoprene Powder and cream. Heat balm for muscles/joints, Vicks inhaler/vaporub, Chopsticks. Dry Fruits/snacks, camera, Film, Map, Jumper, Sun Hat, First Aid Kit, Light weight Rain Gear, Extra Cloth etc.

 

Altitude Sickness: This is an environment related condition that can effect anyone who ascends too rapidly to high elevations without acclimatizing properly. Suggested to read any book on trekking, which has a chapter on this, and also consult your doctor.

 

Anti – Inflammatory:Avil, Brufen or Mortin. Aspirin / Tylenol or general painkillers. Strong sunscreen oil, skin antibiotic cream/ Antifungal Ointment Lozenges/Strepsils (plenty).

 

Insurance: We recommend that you insure yourself against sickness, EMERGENCY RESCUE, accident hospitalization, etc.. We are not liable and responsible for any damages or extra expenses that may arise from mishaps and the loss of their belongings during the pilgrimage.

 

Clothing’s: Clothing’s for both extremes of climate and temperature. While driving to Chardham Yatra, it will be warm inside the vehicle and light clothing will be required, but as soon as you step out of the vehicle, warm clothing will be required to keep off the cold winds of the Himalayas. Evening will be generally cold and warm clothing will be required We recommend that you  bring along the following clothing’s and accessories with you:

Down Jacket – one / Warm thick pullover – One / Warm thin pullover – One / Warm pants – Two Light loose cotton pants – Two / Warm windproof jacket – One / Cotton full sleeve TShirts – Four / Thermal under pants long – Two / Thermal vest / warm full T-Shirts – Two / Rain coat with hood / Poncho (should be roomy) – One / “Broken – in” pair of ankle high walking boots & one extra shoe laces / Light tennis shoes & light rubber sandal / Warm woolen socks-4 / Large cotton or silk scarf-One / Warm Gloves / Towels (one big, one small) / Monkey cap and Sun heat – one each, Soft paper tissue and handkerchiefs – Plenty Washing kit.
